Yana first public performance took place in 1996 on Ivan Salmaksov’s program “White Nights” on Station 106.8 FM. Soon after, she became a resident at the club Aquatoria and hosted a show on Substation 69.26 radio. The release of her mix “Nechto” on Citadel Records, followed by inclusion in the booking section of Ptuch magazine, led to extensive touring. After the radio station closed, she combined DJing with work at the production company Cosmos Production, which promoted Russian electronic music.
