He Did is the production alias of Ricardo Rueda, a Lima-born electronic music producer with over 15 years of deep presence in the South American underground, particularly within Peru’s evolving electronic scene. His music explores minimal structures, analog textures, dubby atmospheres, and subtle melodies, always rooted in emotion and the moment. Ricardo’s work has been released on labels such as Archipel, SPĀS Records, Psyfunk, Micra Recordings, and Tzinah Records. It has been played by artists including Rhadoo, Audiofly, Gescu, Franco Cinelli, Cally, Herck, and Arapu. He is also the co-founder of Saint & Don’t Music, a label he runs alongside longtime collaborator Kike Mayor. The imprint has received support from Petre Inspirescu, Tini, Rhadoo, Raresh, Audiofly, Seb Zito, Little Hado, and others across the global scene. Production is the heart of everything he does. DJing becomes the extension, a way to translate his sound into shared, physical space. Whether sculpting tones in the studio or weaving a narrative in a DJ set, He Did stays grounded in the same purpose: to connect through sound.
