'Goodbye Esmond, Hello Kelvin’ is a lockdown-inspired exploration of electronic music, diverging from the techno-centric approach of Modus’s previous releases and delving into diverse tastes which have informed his musical background. Whilst the ‘doof’ comfort blanket doesn’t feature, you’ll still find plenty of nods towards classic Detroit electro, European house, UK IDM, ambient & Japanese electronica. The end result is a melodic expanse of 15 superb tracks, with these influences charting a linear path across the 2xLP release.
